Dear PHS Families,

The Guidance Department is pleased to share this update/reminder of important upcoming dates and events. Please reach out to your child’s guidance counselor with any specific questions.

Students and Parents of Juniors that registered for the virtual College Admissions Night are reminded that it will take place this Wednesday, March 31st at 6:30 PM. The 1,000 slots that were available have been reserved and those that have registered should check their email for login information for the virtual event. The admissions representatives that will be speaking are from the following colleges:

• University of California San Diego

• Providence College

• Bridgewater State University

• The University of Massachusetts at Amherst

• Quinnipiac University

• Bates College

A 2nd College Admissions Night has been added and students/parents of Juniors are encouraged to register. The event will be hosted by Bridgewater-Raynham High school and will take place on April 7th at 6:30 PM. Slots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please register by clicking here. The colleges that will be presenting include:

• Holy Cross College

• UMASS Lowell

• Stonehill College

• Boston College

• Bristol Community College

UPCOMING VIRTUAL COLLEGE FAIRS

The NEACAC Spring College Fairs will be held virtually on the following dates and times:

Wednesday, April 14th from 7-8:30 pm 

Sunday, May 16th from 1-3:00 pm 

There are over 180 colleges that are registered to participate in the program. Registration for students is free but required. Students will be able to explore virtual booths, video chat with admissions representatives, watch presentations, and more. To register please click here. 

 

SAT & ACT IMPORTANT DATES/REMINDERS: 

Juniors that are interested in registering for the SAT and or ACT should be mindful of the upcoming dates and deadlines listed below: To register for the SAT visit www.collegeboard.org

 

SAT Spring Test Dates:

May 8th - Registration Deadline: April 8th  

June 5th - Registration Deadline: May 6th

Please note: The Collegeboard is no longer offering SAT Subject Tests

 

ACT Spring Test Dates:

To register for the ACT visit: www.actstudent.org

April 17th - Registration Deadline: March 12th  

June 12th - Registration Deadline: May 7th  

July 17th - Registration Deadline: June 18

*If any student receives reduced or free lunch please see your guidance counselor for an SAT and/or ACT fee waiver code.
