The Guidance Department is pleased to share this update/reminder of important dates and events occurring throughout the month of March and April. Please reach out to your child’s guidance counselor with any specific questions.

QUINCY COLLEGE DECISION DAY

The Guidance Department will be hosting a Decision Day with Quincy College on Friday, March 26th. Interested seniors will need to complete a Quincy College application by March 24th and will have a virtual appointment with the Director of Admissions and receive an on-the-spot admission decision on Friday, March 26th. 

SAVE THE DATES! The Guidance Department is pleased to announce that we now have added a 2^nd Virtual College Admissions Night. Students and Parents are encouraged to attend either of the events to learn about the admissions process at both a private and public college and to gain firsthand information from admissions representatives.  Please register for the event(s) you would like to attend using the links below.

Event #1: College Admissions Panel on March 31st at 6:30 PM in collaboration with several surrounding south shore high schools. College Admissions Representatives from the following colleges will be available for the virtual event: 

• University of California San Diego
• Providence College
• Bridgewater State University
• The University of Massachusetts at Amherst
• Quinnipiac University
• Bates College

 

There are 1,000 registration slots on a first-come-first-served basis.  Please register by clicking here.  

Event #2: College Admissions Panel on April 7^th at 6:30 PM will be hosted by Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School. Please register by clicking here. The colleges that will be presenting include:

• Holy Cross College
• UMASS Lowell
• Stonehill College
• Boston College
• Bristol Community College

 

 SAT & ACT Important Dates & Reminders:

Juniors that are interested in registering for the SAT and or ACT should be mindful of the upcoming dates and deadlines:

SAT Spring Test Dates:

May 8^th - Registration Deadline: April 8^th  

June 5^th - Registration Deadline: May 6^th

Please note: The Collegeboard is no longer offering SAT Subject Tests

 

To register for the ACT visit: www.actstudent.org

ACT Spring Test Dates:

April 17^th - Registration Deadline: March 12^th  

June 12^th - Registration Deadline: May 7^th  

July 17^th - Registration Deadline: June 18

 

*If any student receives reduced or free lunch please see your guidance counselor for an SAT and/or ACT fee waiver code.
