Dear Pembroke Families,

Late yesterday afternoon, we were alerted to an incident of significant racial, anti-Semitic, and obscenely sexualized graffiti in one of our science classrooms at Pembroke High school.

With incidents of this nature we work collaboratively with the Pembroke Police Department as we conduct our investigation. The Pembroke High School administration is early in the investigatory process, but are committed to transparency and direct communication with our school community. We will be exhausting all of our resources to find those responsible and hold them accountable to the fullest extent of the law and the PHS Student Handbook.

The actions of these few individuals do not represent who we are or what we stand for as a school or a community at large.  Pembroke Public Schools condemn such hateful, intolerant behaviors in the strongest terms, as they speak directly against our Core Values as a school community.
