Meet the Interim Principal Dr. Galligan

July 16, 2020

Dear Parents and Guardians,

It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed Interim Principal of Bryantville Elementary School. I am honored to join such a caring community of educators, families, and students. For the past 19 years, I have been an educator and administrator in grades 4-12-both in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. For the past five years, I have served the Pembroke Public Schools as the K-12 History and then Humanities Curriculum Supervisor. In that role, I have worked closely with our teachers to create robust, standards-aligned, and engaging learning experiences for our students. I am excited and eager to bring my skills as an educational leader to Bryantville Elementary School and work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success.

My first official day in this role will be Monday, August 3rd. But beforehand, I invite you to participate in a virtual coffee hour with me. I will be holding virtual coffee hours via Google Meets at the following times:

While these meetings would not be the ideal time to discuss individual student’s needs, my hope is to provide you with an opportunity to discuss what you would like to see in the next leader of Bryantville Elementary School. As your Interim Principal, it is important to me that everyone who is part of our community-teachers, students, and parents are excited to be here!  This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun, and nurturing environment. My is door is always open and I welcome your input.  Please feel free to call or email me to discuss any concerns you might have throughout the school year.  While we certainly have many challenges ahead, I have no doubt that together—we can overcome them. I thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to working with you as a team to help each student at Bryantville meet their goals and have a successful school year!
