End of Year Update from PCMS
Dear PCMS Families,
We would like to wish all of our PCMS students and families a happy, healthy, and most enjoyable summer! It was great to see many of you at the Farewell Parade. I know the teachers loved seeing everyone’s faces and having a chance to say “Goodbye!” Needless to say, the last four months have been challenging for everyone. We feel very fortunate to have such a great community of support and collaboration with all of you. Without the efforts of our staff, parents, and students, remote learning would not have been possible. This new endeavor came with many challenges and learning experiences for all of us, and together we were able to meet all the challenges and make the best of it!
We will be mailing Term 4/Final report cards today (Tuesday, June 23rd). As a reminder, students will receive a “CR” for Term 4 if they received credit and an “NC” if they did not. Students earning credit will have their final (yearly) average in a course (T1-40%, T2-40%, T3-20%) raised by 1/3 of a letter grade, and those that did not earn credit will have the final average lowered by 1/3 of a letter grade.
We still have several students who have not gathered their locker contents. If your child still needs to pick up their belongings, please contact us so we can make arrangements. We will hold all belongings until Tuesday, June 30th.
If you borrowed a Chromebook, please return it to PCMS. They can be dropped off at the front office during the weekdays, Monday through Thursday.
Please return all textbooks and PCMS library books that you have at home. Bills are being sent home for lost materials.
As always, if you have any questions and/or concerns feel free to reach out to us!
