PHS PARKING

STUDENT PARKING REGISTRATION

The window for students to register for parking will open the week of August 24.  For seniors only, Mrs. Stacey Kerek, our new main office administrative assistant, will begin accepting parking registrations on the following dates and times:

  • 8/24 – 8/28 (Monday - Friday) from 9 am. – 2 p.m.

  • 8/31 and 9/1 (Mon. and Tues.) from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

After that, once school begins, seniors can submit registrations to Mrs. Kerek during their lunch period or during a study hall (with a pass from the study hall teacher, of course!)

In order to receive a parking permit, students must have the following items with them at the time of registration:

  • driver’s license (so that we can copy and file)

  • car registration (so that we can copy and file)

  • the $75 parking fee (checks made payable to Pembroke High School)

  • the PHS Student Parking Contract, signed by both the student and the parent.  This contract is also available in the main office, but it must be signed before the hangtag can be issued.

Again, students must have all four of these items with them at the time of registration or Mrs. Harrington will not be able to issue a hangtag.  We are unable to "hold spots" for students that will be getting their license or a vehicle in the future.  We do our best to accommodate students that obtain their license or a vehicle during the school year and as space allows.

WHAT ABOUT JUNIORS?

As always, by the end of September/early October, we will begin awarding any remaining parking spaces to juniors, again on a first-come-first-served basis.  The same requirements for getting a parking hang-tag will apply when we open the registration window for juniors.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation regarding student parking throughout the year.  We look forward to seeing all of you in a few weeks.
