Dear PHS Students and Families,

 

I hope you are all enjoying the final few days of summer vacation.  We are very much looking forward to welcoming all of our students back to school on Wednesday, September 2. 

 

As I mentioned in an earlier email blast, we are implementing a new Cell Phone Policy this year.  Currently, the Massachusetts Senate and Massachusetts House of Representatives have passed separate bills this summer addressing cell phone and social media use in schools. While they have not been able to reach an agreement forming a compromise between the two bills, we are all anticipating that they will eventually enact new legislation restricting the use of cell phones and other smart devices in school.  Our new policy is being implemented in preparation for that.
