Class of 2025 Reminders

AP Exams are only one reason why this time of year is extremely busy for our Senior Class. I will continue to prominently highlight important matters about our seniors each week for the remainder of the year. Here we go for this week:

  • Term 4 Progress Reports for seniors will be published on Wednesday, April 30. This is for seniors only, as students in grades 9-11 will have their Progress Reports published on May 9.
  • The last day of classes for seniors is May 17, and the last day of exams is Thursday, May 22.
  • Class of 2025 Lawn Signs - “Home of a Pembroke Graduate Class of 2025” Yard Signs will be on sale starting Monday, April 28, during lunches and after school in room A205 (Class Advisor Mrs. Courchene's classroom). Signs are $25 (cash or check made payable to PHS). Parents can contact Mrs. Courchene (amanda.courchene@pembrokek12.org) with any questions.
  • Here are the important dates for our seniors for the rest of the year:
    • May 16 - Last day of classes for the Class of 2025
    • May 17 - PHS Promenade (5 p.m.) and Junior-Senior Prom (6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Quincy Marriott)
    • May 19-22 - Final Exam week for the Class of 2025
    • May 27 - Senior Dinner/Yearbook distribution (6-9 p.m. Jones River Tavern)
    • May 28 -
      • Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal (7:45-11:00 a.m. Cafeteria, Auditorium, PHS Athletic Complex)
      • Cap and Gown Pick-Up (11 a.m. PHS Main Lobby)
      • Baccalaureate Celebration of the Class of 2025 (7 p.m. PHS Randall Auditorium)
    • May 29 -
      • Senior Walk (Bus leaves PHS at 9 a.m. and visits the other four schools in the district)
      • Senior Awards Night (6-8 p.m. PHS Randall Auditorium)
    • May 31 - Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2025 (10 a.m. PHS Athletic Complex)
  • Senior Dinner, Baccalaureate, Senior Walk, and Senior Awards Night are staples of our Senior Week. They are intended to celebrate the entire Senior Class, and we want all of our seniors to attend and enjoy each event; however, attendance at these events is not mandatory. The only event during Senior Week that is mandatory is graduation rehearsal. All students wishing to participate in the Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2025 on May 31 must attend this rehearsal.
  • All members of the Class of 2025 will receive a formal invitation to Senior Awards Night, whether they are receiving an award or not. Seniors that are receiving an award that evening will find an additional slip of pink paper in their invitation that explicitly tells them that.
  • During Advisory Monday on April 28, I will be meeting with the Senior Class to discuss the end of the year with them. They will also be given a link to a Google Form, which will serve as an RSVP for both their Senior Dinner and Senior Walk. Students will have almost two full weeks to RSVP by submitting the form, but both events require an RSVP to attend. Remember, the Senior Dinner is free of charge for any senior that wants to attend, and we hope that they all do. However, we must give an accurate headcount to the caterer at the Jones River Trading Post in Kingston. Likewise, we need to know how many buses to order for the Senior Walk. Thus, it is crucial that all students wishing to participate RSVP by Friday, May 9.
  • We are still accepting payments for Caps and Gowns, which are $25 (cash or checks made payable to PHS). Caps and Gowns will be distributed on Wednesday, May 28 after graduation rehearsal.
