Announcements

  • Important Parking Information

Registration season for on-campus student parking is upon us.  As always, parking is a senior privilege, with ample opportunities provided for our seniors to get the needed paperwork submitted to the office to secure a space.  By the end of September, we open up registration for juniors if spaces are still available.

For seniors only, the Great Mrs. Logan will begin accepting parking registrations on the following dates and times:

    • 8/14 – 8/16 (Tues. – Thurs.) from 9 am. – 2 p.m.
    • 8/21 – 8/23 (Tues. – Thurs.) from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
    • 8/27 and 8/28 (Mon. and Tues.) from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

After that, once school begins, seniors can submit registrations to Mrs. Logan during their lunch period or during a study hall (with a pass from the study hall teacher, of course!)

In order to receive a parking permit, students must present their driver’s license and their car registration that day.  We cannot reserve a space for students anticipating getting a license or a car in the future.  Students must also sign the PHS Parking Contract before receiving their hang-tag.

     PLEASE NOTE THIS IMPORTANT CHANGE:

In an attempt to create a more orderly exit from campus at the end of the day, we are changing the parking lot assignments.  During the 2018-19 year, all student parking will be in the lower, side lot.  The faculty will park in the upper, front lot.

    WHAT ABOUT JUNIORS?

As always, by the end of September, we will begin awarding any remaining parking spaces to juniors, again on a first come-first served basis.  The same requirements for getting a parking hang-tag will apply when we open the registration window for juniors.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation regarding student parking throughout the year.  We look forward to seeing all of you in a few weeks.

    Regards,

Mr. Talbot, Mr. Rix, and Ms. Kelley
