Middle schools are successful when students, parents/caregivers and educators work cooperatively to ensure student growth and development. Therefore, we ask that all parties commit to their part of this Home-School Compact.
Parent/Caregiver
I realize that my child's school years are very important, and I understand that my participation in my child's education will help him/her to be successful. Therefore, to the best of my ability...
I promise to:
- Have high expectations for my child
- Encourage positive attitudes about school and education
- Encourage my child to do his or her best
- Ensure that my child attends school regularly and on time
- Encourage my child to read at home and monitor TV viewing
- Talk with my child every day about his or her homework and school activities
- Communicate with my child's teachers about his or her progress
- Attend open house, parent-teacher conferences, and other school-sponsored programs whenever I can
- Help my child to resolve conflicts in positive, non-violent ways
- Become familiar and discuss with my child the contents of the Student Handbook

- Have high expectations for myself
- Work hard and do my best
- Believe that I can and will learn
- Attend school regularly
- Come to class on time, prepared with my homework and supplies
- Follow the school and bus rules
- Be responsible for my own behavior
- Show respect for myself and all people and property
- Work cooperatively with my classmates
- Ask for help when needed
- Deliver notices, corrected work, midterm reports, and report cards to my parents/caregivers
- Resolve my conflicts in positive, non-violent ways
- Comply with the Student Code of Conduct in the Student Handbook
