6:30 PM - 8:00 PM PHS Arts Festival
7:00 PM School Committee Meeting
To ensure student achievement through excellence in teaching and learning.
Parents will be automatically notified if their child is marked absent during Titan Homeroom (7:20-7:30 am). Parents are encouraged to call the school to make us aware if your child will be absent. Even if a parent calls the school to report an absence, parents will still receive an automated absence call later that morning (parents can just disregard the call).
Breakfast and lunch will continue to be free for all students for the 2021-2022 school year. Water can be purchased.
The menu can be found here.
Students have been reminded about cell phones being put away and out of sight. There is no cell phone use during the school day. If students need to get in contact with their parents, they should ask their teacher for permission or come to the office to use the phone. Students caught using their cell phones will have to turn them into the office for pick up at the end of the school day.
A printable version of the District Calendar is located under the Students & Families dropdown menu.
Registration is now open for PCMS spring girls volleyball and boys and girls track. You may register your student-athlete at
Athletic Registration 2021-2022 - Pembroke School District

There are two sports being offered. The girls’ volleyball team will practice twice a week (days TBD). The PCMS Track & Field team practices will be held after school on Mondays and Thursdays. Practices for both sports will begin the week of March 28.

PCMS is starting a unified basketball team this spring.
Unified sports give students with and without disabilities an opportunity to compete on the same team. Students train and play together. Through collaboration in Unified Sports, athletes improve their social and behavioral skills while showcasing their potential, and partners develop a broader sense of compassion, leadership, and understanding https://www.specialolympics.org/our-work/sports/unified-sports.
The team members have been identified and practices began this week. There will be two games: (1) Away Game @ West Bridgewater 3/16 3:30-4:30 pm and (2) Home Game vs West Bridgewater 3/24 3:45-4:45 pm.
Students and parents are welcome to come and cheer on the team during game days.
Visit the Homeschooling Section of our website for the requirements and application process.
After-school buses will begin next week on September 13. There will be after-school buses on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Buses pick up students at 3:30. This allows student-athletes a way to get home after practice. The after-school buses also allow students who join clubs or other after-school activities a way to get home. Students must have a bus pass to ride the late bus.
Parents who drive their 7th-grade children to school should use the circular driveway or a loop around the staff parking lot for drop off/pick up. [The front parking lot parallel to School Street is where the buses drop off/pick up]. Seventh-grade students can wait in the cafeteria or outside the main doors until the start of school.
Parents who are dropping off eighth-grade students should loop around the back of the school and drop their children off near the basketball courts. Eighth-grade students can wait out near the basketball court or in the gym until the start of school. If students do not have time to eat before leaving for school, they can get a grab & go breakfast outside the cafeteria. Families dropping off both 7th and 8th graders can drop them off at the main doors. These eighth-grade students should then proceed to the gym to wait for the start of school.
Students head to their homerooms starting at 7:15 am and will be marked tardy if they arrive at school after 7:20 am.
We will use the same traffic patterns for afternoon dismissal and pick-ups.
Information on the PCMS clubs we’ll be offering this year will be sent out within the next few weeks. Clubs are free and meet 1x/week after school on either Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays.

All bus passes for all Pembroke Community Middle and Pembroke High School students who have paid the transportation fee as of August 24th are being mailed to the address on record this week. We will continue to process additional applications as payments are received. If you have not received a paid pass by August 30th, please contact the Transportation Office at 781-829-0832.
We are thrilled to partner with FirstView, the transportation tracking app, again this year. Please note that this app will not be available until bus routes are finalized. We project to have additional information, including the school codes, by mid-September.
